Alot of folks use Randy at Best Converters. On my new 2008 Starcraft that came with a minimal 30A converter with one MAIN 30A Circuit breaker and four 12V Fuse zones I found out right away I needed to update the ELIXIR Industries 30A Power Converter with something that supported many 120VAC Circuit Breakers and 12V Fuse Zones.I went with a WFCO WF8900 series Power distribution panel that has five large 120VAC Circuit breaker slots and Eleven 12VDC Fuse zones along with two REVERSE POLARITY protection fuse positions. Wiring this in place was pretty easy as all of the wiring already was available at the Power Converter installed position on my POPUP.I did go with a smart mode Power Converter being the Progressive PD9260C unit that is a 60AMP 12VDC source with all of the smart mode charging modes. This was required to support my updated Battery bank to support my OFF-ROAD camping. I bought everything from AMAZON and local LOWES Store. My Power Converter and Power Distribution looks like these two photos. My PD9260C was abit too tight a fit in the lower compartment of the WF8945 Power Distribution panel so I moved it closer to the battery bank as a stand-alone unit. I could of made the PD9260C unit to fit real easy but I wanted it closer to the battery bank anyway. I left the WF8945 Converter/Charger unit in the bottom compartment and can switch it in use by flipping a 120VAC circuit breaker if needed. What I did for my setup may be a over-kill for what you are wanting to do - just showing it can be done. This is my overall wiring diagram.

I replaced the same Magnatek with a WFCO. The openning was a little different size so I had to use a piece of plywood to adapt the slighly smaller cut out of the WFCO fit the larger Magnatek hole.I dont know why but it took me a long time to figure out the 30amp breaker is wired in reverse of a regular house box. The electricity flows in from the wire to the lug on the breaker to the common bar of the WFCO. I would also suggest spending a couple bucks on new breakers, the breakers in my Magnatek were what failed and literally melted down. I replaced the same Magnatek with a WFCO.
